Monthly Shipment of WLCSP from JCAP exceeds 600 Million

As announced by JCET on January 4,2017, a preliminary calculation of the Company's financial department shows that the net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company in 2016 is expected to increase by 90% ~ 120%, compared with RMB 51,997,500 in the same period of last year.

The Company said that major reasons for the expected increase in performance include: JCET and JCAP are pretty busy in orders; the factory in Chuzhou has cut cost and improved efficiency, leading to obvious benefit; the factory in Suqian has successfully adjusted its product structure and began to profit; the integration effect of STATS ChipPAC gradually came to the top, with loss reduced; all of such reasons superimposed to make the net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company in 2016 increase, compared with that in the same period of last year.

Recently, benefited from the strong growth sustained in the smart phone market, total 600 million WLCSPs have been shipped from JCAP in December 2016, making JCAP the world’s No. 1 OSAT. In fact, according to data of Yole and TechSearch, two well-known international research companies, as early as 2015, the shipment of JCAP has ranked in the forefront of the global OSATs. The monthly shipment exceeding 600 million specifically reflects the company’s intention to solidate its leading position in the field of WLCSP packaging,and it is a significant step in the strategic direction of scale production.
